climate control in exile
a place to sit and smoke
or just have tea and relax
watching birds in the hedge
and people strolling through
the garden on the path
across the way
mighty peaceful here
for such an industrial place
though that industry lies now
in the past, save the work of artists
shaping clay, pushing paint, and
knowing the value of rest
in the art of creation
